7:57 PM
4 more hours to 2007.
1 Jan 2007 is just another day, isn't it?
Rhys still isn't back.
The party was alright.
I watched Battle Royale. Violent, but interesting.

9:54 AM
This is a quote I found on a 2007 Calendar I got...
Friends are the rare people who ask how you are... and wait around for the answer.Like hell yea.
So anyway, my party's basically screwed because Mitra isn't coming. Oh well. Tian Boon's going to be late so yea. =( I'm banged up pretty badly now. No, not banged up like raped, but you get what I mean.
And Tian Boon might still be sleeping. Pig. I better call him again to check whether he's on his way to the MRT. Urgh.
12:24 AM
Rhys, come back now. I'm expecting you to sign on anytime. >< I know I'm just destroying myself, but I can't be bothered. You're coming back today!
Today!I'm keeping my fingers soooo crossed they're almost twisted that I'll be able to see you tomorrow before I have to get out and do my stuff and have the party. So yes, come on, Rhys. Sign on now. ><

I can't believe you forgot I don't take chilli.
Practising for when I'm gone so fast, eh? Oh, yay.

7:36 PM
Well. Connection's still a little slow, especially for anything which has anything to do with Google, like Blogger for instance. Ah well.
I'm absolutely bored out of my bloody wits.
Yes. Screwed out of my brains by boredom.
Well, at least Trivia on dA is working now. So I've got something to occupy my mind with. Hm.
Some people just get on my nerves so bloody much.
Don't fucking look down on me or think I'm some kid. Because know what? You're the same age as me.

5:23 PM
Life seems ultra dull at the moment. I can't wait for Saturday to come.
Saturday equals to:
1) Rhys will be back! Finally... it's a chore living without him to bother.
2) Farewell party at my place, so I'll get to see most of my classmates whom I haven't seen in a pretty long time. Psh.
So until then, I shall just rot my brains out at home. On my own. With no one to bother or talk to except my mom.
Yay, how fun.

Would you have stayed if I'd asked?

10:34 PM
Great, just great... I turn on a movie, and then lie down on the couch and fall asleep, hoping I'd actually sleep through the night and not face the dilemma of what movie to watch while waiting for boredom to get rid of itself...
BUTInstead, I wake up too bloody hours later, and it's still 10.30pm. And I'm still feeling tired. There's something seriously wrong here. Either, my body truly hates me, or my body truly hates me. Hm.
Argh, why must you be gone when I need you?! ><
6:09 PM
Alone once again.
Ah well. I hate counting down to big events like Christmas and New Year's online. But, it always seems to end up being that way.
Man, I'm pathetic, aren't I?
Mitra's back, but she's not picking up her phone or replying my sms-es. Ah well.
This sucks.
Merry Christmas in advance. I might just go to sleep before twelve and forget Christmas altogether.
1:18 PM
Clubbing is so much fun! What Chong said is totally untrue. Psh.
I went with Tian Boon, Shu Ying, Diana, Tracy, Rui Qi, Arthur, Cui Wen and Shi Yuan. I know it's a pretty weird group, since the connections are like all over. But, it was awesome!
At the first room we went to, there was this horribly cute waiter. Hehe. He was new there, and because it was our first time, we didn't really know what drinks we could have. Lol, call us noobs, whatever. But it was so cute when he had to keep excusing himself to ask his more experienced colleague. Heh. And he does look cute. I think he was the cutest guy in the club, really. Hm.
Well, the dancing was pretty awkward at first, I must say. My legs were doing alright, but my hands were all "I-don't-know-how-to-move". Psh. Hehe. But, I gradually got the hang of it. I thought the music was awesome, although it gave Shu Ying a headache. Feeling better, darling? I mean, yes, the music was way loud, and yes, until now I still hear an "eeee" noise in the background, but it was pretty good. ^^
So yea, when's the next time we're going again? =D

I wish you didn't have to go.

10:33 PM
Hm. I just checked on Last.fm and apparently, Evanescence and Snow Patrol are going to perform in Melbourne in February, when I am there.
And DAMN, do I want to go to the Snow Patrol one. >< Christ, if only I was rich. -sniffs- I shall go check out the ticket prices. But, I doubt I'll be able to make it because of Orientation and all. O lord....
I so want to go for it.

4:43 PM
I just finished watching Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain or better known as Amélie. Awesome movie by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. The whole thing was really original and very well put. And the music by Yann Tiersen was lovely.
Rhys was kind enough to send me sheet music for piano just awhile ago, so I'm printing them out now. Yay! Can't wait to lay my fingers on the notes. The melodies are just heavenly.
11:44 AM
I just got a parcel from Rhys. In it were 2 CDs. One was a burnt copy of the movie Amelie which I've been dying to watch. The other one was a personalized DVD. The cover of the DVD (the upper side) was a photo of him in his lovely purple tie and with his striking white electric guitar. And in the DVD, were 755 songs, most of which I've been begging him to send me.
So yes, I guess that's what I might call the perfect Christmas present. Where can I ever find someone so amazing?
Thank you so much!
Now, my gifts to him seem so insignificant. Heh. Ah well...
Here're the photos:

The Holiday. Pretty good movie. It has a few funny parts, and the scenery was beautiful.
But, well, it did kind of disturb me. One small part when Miles went back to his ex-girlfriend. Hm. Cringed a bit when that happened.
I don't think you're the same anymore. So answer me, has my nightmare come true? No wait, don't answer that.
9:57 AM
Dashing through the snow
On a one-horse open sleigh,
Let's welcome tomorrow,
Remember yesterday!
Bells on bob tail ring,
Making spirits bright.
Comfort and warmth, we all shall bring
On this silent winter's night.
Oooh....
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way!
Oh what fun it is to ride and sing
In a one horse open sleigh!
(x2)My rendition of Jingle Bells. Heh, I know it's only half the song. It was meant to be for Rui Qi and Rui Shan, but hm, it was too long to fit into the paper. Hehe. Your presents are ready! Yay!
I still remember the "Dashing dashing dashing" alto part. Hehe.
8:43 AM
Had a great time yesterday, sitting at Coffee Bean and chatting with Andrew and Tian Boon. Laughed till my cheeks hurt.
Then, came back and listened to Sarah Brightman and the rain. Heavenly, I must say.
Just took a morning walk in the rain to see Spike and his kitty friend, to check whether they're alright and to feed them. Ah well, because it's raining, I can't walk Spike. But, the kitty really made my day. He was brushing himself against me the whole time and yea, his fur is really really smooth.
So, although I'm drenched, I did have a good past hour. Heh. Hopefully the rain'll stop by three. I've got a movie date later in the evening. Okay, no, not really a date. But, yea, meeting Tian Boon to watch a movie before he goes back to Malaysia. Yay!
Oh, came up with a haiku for Andrew.
Being with Andrew
Is like trying to hold back
An eager puppy.

1:44 PM
Well then, I just finished watching the second season of Tsubasa Chronicles. In case you didn't know, it's the anime my layout is based on. Heh. The third season's only going to come out in April 2007. So till then, I'll have to satisfy myself with some others. Hehe. I can't wait though!
Anyway, yesterday's dinner was pretty alright. We had to do our own cooking, grouped into different families. My family got the dessert dish. Banana Phyllo with Chocolate Ganache or something like that. Heh. Turned out only my sister and I were doing the work. Psh. Talk about lazy parents, especially my dad.
It turned out pretty alright, I guess. The banana tasted a tad weird though. Hm. And there were too little pieces. But hey, I followed the instructions, so don't blame me. Heh.
Since there were not enough food to go around, my family and Rui Qi's family went out for supper at this coffee shop thing. It was... boring. I wanted to go Coconut Groove, but no one else wanted to. At least they had air con and a television there. Heh. And comfortable chairs. And nice tables. And... nicer food. Heh. Ok, I'm fussy, so shoot me.
Well, after we finished our food, we saw two cockroaches running around nearby and immediately freaked out. Heh. So yea, that concluded the end of the night.
How... fun. Hm.
12:00 AM
I just wish you could've told me earlier that you were only going to be back for a day. Ah well. Guess we aren't as close as I thought we were anymore, huh?
Hm.
I knew somehow this was coming. But then, I think I also know that after a few days of staying at home, we'll get back to the "closeness" thing again. And yea, the whole thing just repeats itself.
I shall just leave it be. Afterall, I'm your friend. If you don't need me, then I'll excuse myself. But, when you need me, I'll be there.
Just wish you could've told me earlier.

8:56 AM
Now that all three of them, Rhys, Tian Boon and Andrew are back, I'm finally at ease again. Heh. I've even got plans on Monday and Tuesday. Eragon on Monday, Night at the Museum on Tuesday. And I'm probably spending most of my day today online with Rhys, so yay!
I honestly have no clue why these guys can make me so happy. Hm. 'Tis just weird.
Well, I've got a family gathering tonight. Hopefully, nothing'll go wrong. We've to cook. Again. Wish me luck!

9:14 PM
With iPod in hand, I shall now conquer the world!
Yep, just got an iPod Nano 4GB, the blue one. It looks so gorgeous, I swear.
Anyway, one day down! One more to go! I shall persevere!
2:38 PM
This song's awesome, really. I'm trying to get my hands on the album, but it doesn't seem to be selling in Singapore. Curse the stupid music industry in Singapore! Gr..
But yea, hopefully someone'll get it for me or something. Ah well. Or I might just have to wait till I get to Australia. Hm.
Pardon the frequent posting. I'm very bored.
11:07 AM
Just finished writing my Christmas cards. 12 in all. Man, it was tough thinking of things to say. Heh.
So yea, if you think you're special (or if I've asked for your home address...), then expect some mail soon!
One thing though, I've still got to get some presents. Small, flat, and light. Hm. That'll be tough.
Hopefully I'll get my iPod Nano today...

11:49 PM
I was on the MRT today, and there was this clip they were showing on those small screens. And I managed to catch sight of something. Too bad I didn't have a camera with me. Heh.
It showed this Emergency Stop button, and below it were the words "Fine for misuse". So, are they saying that they're going to fine people for misuse? Or is it fine to misuse the button? Hm.
Today was alright, I guess. Could've been better. I cried buckets over Full Moon wo Sagashite. I bought a deck of cards which featured different pictures of the anime when I went out with Diana last Friday. And hm... got interested by the graphics. Heh. Thankfully, it was not disappointing. Really good anime, actually. 52 episodes, but totally worth my time.
So yea, basically I spent most of my morning/noon crying while watching the anime.
Then, I had to go for a 4Loyalty gathering. You must know that I haven't seen these high school friends for ages. Most of them for almost 2 years. Heh. I admit I was pretty hesitant on going. Afterall, I'm not one who strikes up conversations well and I didn't really bond with them during high school. But, well, instead of mopping around at home with nothing to do, I decided on giving it a shot.
It wasn't as bad as I thought.
Ah well, got back pretty late because there was a really long queue for taxis so my sister and I decided on taking the MRT instead. Hm.
One day down, two more to go.
1:14 PM
I forgot the keys to my house yesterday, so I had to wait for a bit for my mom to return home.
I passed by the park, and thought "Hey, why not play on the swings for a bit instead of standing for 20 minutes?" so I did.
Listening to the song "If" by Bread as I dashed through the air was heavenly. The last 2 verses of the song went like this...
Then one by one, the stars would all go out,
And you and I would simply fly away.Turned my head to look up at the sky and saw absolutely no stars. Usually, I would feel disheartened, but it fit the lyrics and yea, somehow, I felt like flying. The "you" part, one would simply have to guess.
Rhys is in Melbourne, he'll be gone till Friday. I've no clue what I'm going to occupy myself with at the moment. I'll miss that twit. Tian Boon and Andrew are poof too, they went to Malaysia today. Tian Boon just messaged me and yea, ah well. I was supposed to go with them, but since no girls were going, my parents wouldn't let me. And Mitra might postpone her arrival in Singapore. She's still in India. Hopefully she'll be back by Christmas.
I feel lonely.

11:52 PM
This is my new blog, as can be seen. I want to post more pictures and well, because it's pretty difficult to resize photos without Photoshop, I've decided to use Blogger, so it'll resize it for me once I put them up. Yes, I know, lame excuse.
I think this is a good start as well. I mean, I will be shifting to Australia next year, so I guess yea, a move equals new start, no?
